The Series LoaDisc™ is JETYD’s most cost effective way to remove the need for an external reaction arm when using a torque tool. When a LoaDisc™ is placed under a standard nut, torque can be applied without damaging or marring adjacent nuts, flanges or the tool. The unique configuration of the LoaDisc™ turns the standard nut into a high accuracy device by removing uncontrolled flange friction and nut side loading. The LoaDisc™ provides the operator with a completely hands free and reaction free nut tightening operation.

LOADISC™ DRIVER DIMENSIONS:
The Loadisc™ functions like a simple washer placed under a conventional hex nut. Each Loadisc™ has a threaded insert pressed into the bottom of the body. The Loadisc™ is installed on a bolted application just before the hex nut. Using a special socket the Loadisc™ body is utilized as a reaction point for applying torque to the hex nut. As the stud stretches during tightening the threaded insert travels upward and creates twisting resistance on the stud threads which eliminates the need for a backup wrench.
